Interior Design Assistant
Laurin joined the Design Specialist Team in June of 2013. She has a very unique position within the company being that she helps in many aspects of the office. One of Laurin’s important contributions is maintaining and organizing our 4,000 square foot interiors library. This includes keeping our samples current as well as scheduling meetings for our sales representatives to showcase new products. She also creates our interior finishes “big boards” and “baby boards.” The “big boards” are for the designers to present multiple schemes to the client while the “baby boards” are sent to our clients and contractors as a complete view of the products they have selected for their specific projects. In addition, Laurin generates purchase orders, tracks and receives shipments and supports our designers, estimators and installation crew as needed. In her spare time she enjoys being with her horse, goat and dog and she actively volunteers at a local dog rescue. Laurin is a valuable member of the Design Specialists’ Team, as her “behind the scenes” work keep the office running smoothly.
